Sara stiffened...she recognized the voice but even so she was really surprised to hear it at all. "Jason?!" Sara yelled out in to the darkness.
Man it seemed like everyone was coming out of the darkness. First this woman and then Jason? Who would be next? Two zombies?! Sara knew the boat would be able to hold them all but they needed to get going and get going quickly.

The dock was a little hard to see, but the moonlight on the water helped balance out his vision some. Squinting, he saw another woman standing on the dock, one with long, dark hair and wore black leather that shimmered slightly from the night-lit sky.
Glancing at the woman cautiously, he carefully stopped promptly onto the dock. "Where are you going, Sara?"
It hadn't taken Jason that long the previous night to realize Sara was gone, it was the main reason why he was able to catch up so quickly. He was tired, with out a shower, and a bit low on energy. "Who are these two?" he asked, his voice just loud enough for them to hear.
"Jade Bolton." Jade replied. "Um, I'm wondering the same, and if you are willing to take us two with you..." she didn't see an island for miles, and neither did Jason. What was Sara planning?

"Look...introductions can wait right now if you want to come with then get in the boat. Jason...I'm sorry for taking off on you I just..." Sara paused...how could she explain the fact that Rapture was calling to her? "I...I gotta go home." Sara finally spat out.
A growl sounded somewhere close by; zombies! "Coming?" Sara asked both Jade and Jason as she revved the engine on the boat.

Eleanor had been almost completely unaware that they were being followe by another human female, she was rather shocked when the woman spoke to them, and immediately Eleanor raised up her bow and pulled the string back, the arrow pointing in the direction that she had heard the voice coming from. When the woman stepped out of the darkness, the first thing she noticed was how pale the woman was. She lowered her bow along with the broadhead, there was no way this woman was a zombie, they couldn't talk. "Who ar-" She began to ask when she heard a second voice, this time the obvious voice of a man.
Eleanor tilted her head as the so called, Jason approached them. She was completely dumbfounded at what Sara's relationship with Jason was, they were obviously very closer friends, otherwise he wouldn't have chased her all the way from the camp just to find her. Eleanor half wondered, if anyone else would ever do that for her. When the man asked the question that she was going to ask a few moments ago, she couldn't help but snicker. "Eleanor, Eleanor Parker." She spoke with her mix of a British and Irish accent.

The two Alaskans nodded at Eleanor. Both hopped in the boat. Jade sat near Eleanor, trying to keep to herself, while Jason took the middle of the boat, far enough away from Sara so she could steer it comfortably. Each heard the zombie approaching and were glad to get in the boat in a timely manner. "Home to where? There's nothing out here for miles." he asked, Sara, glancing at her with a confused look on his face.
From behind Sara, he saw the zombie quicken its pace. It wasn't just a typical Walker. Its limping walk was...different, a little quicker. But it didn't quite seem like a jog. "Now would be a good time to start moving..."
"I don't think we should return here for a while until the zombies are gone..." Jade muttered, tucking up her knees, feeling slightly chilled. She kept an eye ball on the zombie. There was no point wasting a Kunai knife on it when they were just about to start moving.
But seriously, it was...speed walking? Jade and Jason only remembered running zombies from various games and movies. What the heck? Jade was tired, hungry, and needed her supplements with in the next few hours, she looked forward to getting on the open water, to say the least, and the silent composure about it stated such rather boldly.

When Jason and Jade were in, Sara backed the boat up while turning it away from the dock and towards the open ocean. That done she then gunned the motor, causing the boat to shoot forward.
Inwardly sighing, Sara knew they were safe enough for now. When they reached Rapture that sense of safety would disappear. Now she allowed herself to think about Jason's question. It was true that nothing was out in the sea for miles in each direction but...if one knew where to look...there was an opening to the underwater city of Rapture.
Sara remembered the lighthouse; the only entrance/exit from Rapture via the bathyspheres; one that took them to the Welcome Center which was where new visitors to Rapture could take the time to acclimate to the city. From there visitors would have direct access to the Medical Pavilion and Neptune's Bounty which was nothing more than a fishery. From there, there would be other bathysphere's and train cars that would have access to other parts of the city.
"What you just said Jason is the very reason why Rapture has remained undetected for so long; no one knows it even exists except those who live there. Because overhead satellites don't pass by here they never detected the way in to Rapture; a lighthouse approximately 20 miles from shore." Sara said as if that was the most obvious answer in the world.

Eleanor felt a little bit intimidated as Jade sat down near her. She couldn't help but glance over at Jade as she sat there, trying to isolate herself, or at least it seemed. She offered a warm smile towards Jade before looking back at the strange zombie that they had just narrowly missed. She wondered just what was up with his strange new walk. She took the arrow off of the string and returned the arrow back to its holder and adjusted her bow to a leaning position against her leg, holding onto the handle with her hand firmly. When Jason questioned why Sara was taking them into the middle of the ocean, Eleanor paid close attention.
"A lighthouse will lead us to Rapture? She asked curiously, she was imagining the city in her mind, the idea of a beautiful city, under the ocean with street lights, whales and sharks swimming past the glass, a place that was left untouched by the zombie apocalypse. She sighed as she began to wonder if the city could be a safe haven for any survivors of the zombie apocalypse.

Sara barely heard Eleanor's question but even so Sara couldn't believe that an underwater city was in and of itself hard to believe! "Yes. It is the only real way down to Rapture. Sure there are lifeboats in case of an emergency but they are attached to Rapture and not the lighthouse. Now, normally the bathysphere's are one to two people but I figure if we squeeze together we can all fit. It won't take more than...10 minutes to get down to the Welcome Center." Sara said.
Besides feeling the city call to her, Sara had her own reason for going back; EVE...along with other plasmids. EVE was the one and only 'fuel' for the plasmids so without EVE you wouldn't be able to do much of anything. To that day Sara didn't understand why she was able to use plasmids since she didn't remember having the ability to use them while living in Rapture; maybe she had found a plasmid and took it by mistake before she left with her 'Father'? Who knows.
Coming back to the present, Sara enjoyed the feeling of the wind whipping through her hair because it reminded her of first stepping out of the life boat with her Sisters and her 'Father'; the wind had been strong then too, and it had whipped through her hair much as it was doing all those years later. Glancing down at her left hand Sara remembered first showing Jason the one plasmid she had; 'Electro Ball', when they had been in Las Vegas last month. Thankfully she had used up the last of the EVE needle since then, yet she still hung on to the single EVE needle she still had in her back pocket; the last thing she had of Rapture.

Okay, well it all kind of made sense to the two of them but..." bathysphere"? What was that? "What's a bathysphere?" he and Jade asked simultaneously. He smirked wryly at the sudden question- they were obviously both curious.
Jason folded his arms and tucked his hands in his hooded sweat shirt, glad he had extra layers with him.

"Bathysphere's are small submersibles; built to withstand numerous amounts of pressure do to the fact that Rapture is on the sea floor." Sara replied, hoping that that would answer Jason's question.
She was silent for a moment, pondering weather or not she should mention one little fact about Rapture or not. "When we get there...let's just say that it may be even more dangerous than living on the streets of Las Vegas or Alaska. Some of the people who lived there...they may not have ever left." Sara warned.

"As in like...crazy people?" Jason queried, tilting his head curiously for a moment. He and Jade exchanged uncertain looks, followed by a shrug from Jason. "Well I'm sure they'll get used to some new guests...there's only four of us, I hope it wouldn't be too awkward." he said, scratching his head for a moment.
He leaned on his side of the boat, watching the mist from his breath rise up in a loose vortex, and idly felt his jean pockets for the keys he kept with in his pocket on a key chain. Good, car keys were still there. He really didn't like abandoning his Mustang, for some reason though, he felt like it was more important to check out Rapture, and perhaps, be wherever Sara was.

~Awkward...~ Sara thought as she closed her eyes. All of a sudden she found herself back on Rapture, her small form standing over an obviously dead body, yet this body seemed to have a glowing mist that she could see.
"ADAM Daddy!" Wait...was that her voice? That tiny, female voice that sounded as if the child was speaking through some sort of electronic amplifier. In her mind's eye Sara watched the child raise a very old and rusty needle type device before plunging it in to the dead form. There was a small glass container on the device that began to fill with a red substance; redder than blood.
All of a sudden a sadistic female voice ordered, "Hand over that child!" A scream, a roar of anger as a huge shadow stepped over the child and then...
With a gasp Sara opened her eyes, finding herself back in the safety of the boat. "Yeah...they should leave us alone." She muttered, while she inwardly thought ~Once we're all dead.~

Eleanor was so fascinated by everything that Sara was saying about the underwater city. It was still a crazy idea that there was even a city that was built to withstand the massive amount of pressure that the ocean floor deals with. "Fascinating..." She commented under her breathe after Sara explained what a Bathysphere was, and the fact that there was other people down there. There was now just one question that was nagging at her in the back of her head.
She turned her head towards Jade slightly, glancing at the woman before turning her head to look out to sea, looking for any signs of the supposed lighthouse. "Just how old is Rapture? How long has it remained unknown?"

Sea; heading for the Lighthouse Pacific Ocean Time: Approx 11:30 PM
"No one knows exactly how old Rapture is. I believe it was built in the 40's or 50's by a man named Andrew Ryan, the original 'ruler' if you will, over Rapture. His son ended up killing him; at least...that's what I see in my dreams." Sara replied.
She had no proof anything that she had told them was real, except she knew that Rapture was real and it was still standing; there was nothing structurally wrong with the city, save for a few submerged decks, but that was easy enough to fix if you had a Big Daddy suit, aka a diving suit on.
---- 12:00 AM
Thirty minutes had gone by before a large shadow lumed just up ahead. The shadow was huge, even bigger than Big Ben in London. "There it is." Sara said, gesturing with her right hand towards the lighthouse. The light wasn't on and hadn't been for many years, but Sara knew that this was the right place.
Something off to the left drew her vision. She could see pieces of a plane; it was on fire. Luggage was floating in the water all around, as were the dead bodies of the passengers. Slowly the wreckage disappeared beneath the sea...
Blinking her eyes Sara returned to reality, angling the boat right up towards the lighthouse. Upon reaching it, Sara tied it to the single, rust covered loop that was in the wall. "Everybody out." Sara said.

Jade jumped out of the boat promptly. Neither she nor Jason knew what they were getting themselves into. The whole setting looked mysterious to them, but Jade was probably the more intrigued one. Jason was more focused on just staying away from the zombies.
The moonlight peeked through the clouds and shone across the small island, the ocean around them, and the lighthouses walls, as well as the path leading up to the light house. Jason would get out of the boat AFTER Sara. Both waited for Sara to take the lead since she knew what they would do next once they got to the light house.
